Ingredients
For the Oreo Crust
- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 4 tbsp melted butter
For the Creamy Cheesecake Layer
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping, thawed
For the Chocolate Pudding Layer
- 1 package (3.9 oz / 110 g) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
For the Topping
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 8–10 Oreo cookies, roughly crushed
- ¼ cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
- Chocolate syrup, optional
Instructions
1. Make the Oreo crust
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Mix them with the melted butter until evenly combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Place in the refrigerator while preparing the next layer.
2. Prepare the cheesecake filling
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined. Gently fold in 1 cup whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
3. Make the chocolate pudding
In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until thickened.
Let it sit for 5 minutes, then spread the pudding evenly over the cheesecake layer.
4. Add the whipped topping
Spread the remaining 2 cups whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer.
5. Decorate
Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips over the top. Drizzle with chocolate syrup for an extra-decadent finish.
6. Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best texture and flavor.
7. Serve
Slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy every creamy, chocolatey layer!
