Ginger–Garlic–Lemon Immunity Drink

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water (not boiling)

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root (sliced or grated)

  • 2–3 cloves fresh garlic (crushed)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • (Optional) 1 teaspoon raw honey


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the ginger – Slice or grate it.

  2. Crush the garlic – Let it sit for 5–10 minutes (this activates allicin, its beneficial compound).

  3. Heat water – Warm it, but don’t boil (boiling can reduce some beneficial properties).

  4. Steep – Add ginger and garlic to the warm water and let steep for 10 minutes.

  5. Add lemon juice – Stir in fresh lemon juice.

  6. Optional – Add honey once the drink cools slightly.

  7. Strain (optional) and drink warm.
