Tender, juicy salmon fillets baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with lemon and fresh herbs. This easy recipe is flavorful, comforting, and perfect for a quick dinner.
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets, about 150–180 g each
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
5 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Lemon slices, for serving
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down in the baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure the tops are well coated.
Bake for 12–16 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
Remove from the oven and spoon some of the garlic butter sauce from the pan over each fillet. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
Serve immediately with roasted vegetables, rice, mashed potatoes, salad, or steamed broccoli.
