 Q&A

Q: How do I prevent watery zucchini?
A: Salt the sliced zucchini lightly, let it sit for 10–15 minutes, then pat it very dry before cooking.

Q: Can I use only mozzarella?
A: Yes, but Parmesan adds extra flavor and helps create a golden crust.

Q: Can I make it ahead?
A: Yes. Assemble it several hours ahead, refrigerate, then bake when ready.

Q: Can I add chicken?
A: Yes. Add about 2 cups cooked shredded chicken for a heartier main dish.

Q: Can I use cheddar?
A: Absolutely. Cheddar, Monterey Jack or a mozzarella-cheddar blend works well.
