Instructions
- Prepare the crockpot

Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over everything. Add the butter in small pieces. - Slow cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is tender. - Shred the chicken

Tips
- Shred cheese from a block for the smoothest sauce.
- Soften the cream cheese before adding it.
- Don’t add the shredded cheese at the beginning; it can become oily or grainy during long cooking.
- Chicken thighs stay especially juicy in the crockpot.
- If the sauce is too thick, stir in a small splash of warm chicken broth.
- If the sauce is too thin, leave the lid slightly open for a few minutes after adding the cheese.

- Contains nuts: No.
- The recipe contains dairy.
- Cheddar, mozzarella, cream cheese, and Parmesan are dairy products, not nuts.
- If preparing for someone with a nut allergy, check packaged broth, cheese, seasonings, and bacon for possible cross-contact warnings.

Q: Can I add vegetables?
A: Yes. Bell peppers, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, or diced zucchini work well.
Q: How long do leftovers last?
A: Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
Q: Can I freeze it?
A: You can freeze it, but creamy cheese sauces may separate slightly after thawing. For the best texture, refrigerate leftovers instead.
