Nopal (Cactus) & Lime Green Juice Remedy

📝 Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 1 medium fresh nopal cactus pad (about 1 cup chopped)

  • 1 cup cold water (or coconut water)

  • Juice of 1–2 fresh limes

  • ½ small cucumber (optional, for smoother taste)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)

  • Ice cubes (optional)


🔪 Step 1: Prepare the Nopal

  1. Rinse the cactus pad thoroughly.

  2. Using a knife, carefully scrape off:

    • The small thorns

    • The raised bumps (nodes)

  3. Rinse again.

  4. Cut into small cubes.

Tip: Wear gloves while handling to avoid tiny spines.


🌀 Step 2: Blend

Add to blender:

  • Chopped nopal

  • Water

  • Lime juice

  • Cucumber (optional)

  • Honey (optional)

Blend for 30–60 seconds until smooth.
